A very busy restaurant. We ordered a full order of shrimp. Lots for my wife and I. Food came quickly, hot. And lots of it. An interesting venue set in an old freezer plant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great for a casual visit.
Worth the wait in line! My favorite place to eat shrimp. Recently tried their clam chowder, crab legs & mussels as well- all were very good. Crab legs were difficult to eat because they don’t use real silverware (which probably helps keep their prices down) so in the future I will bring my own crackers or fork. The only thing I can really complain about are the ‘no see ums’ so bring your bug spray- we are in Florida so that is expected & not really in their control:)
We were looking for an out-of-the-way place, and this place was recommended. We got here and wow it was totaly packed! So much for out of the way we strolled in noticed about 10-15 in line to get a drink (at the bar!) then we said forget it! Another one of the places that is too popular and busy, I guess the word is out, maybe it is a good place, but no way I'll wait that long for a beer! Maybe on another trip well get here but forget Friday night!
Great steamed shrimp! We also enjoyed a bowl of clam chowder. Great food in a very rustic setting. The place looks very rough, and is a bar type atmosphere, but we ate by the water and enjoyed our dinner. Cash only.
Love, love, love this place! The food is fantastic. Our favorites are clam chowder, snow crab & shrimp. If you want a fancy restaurant, this is not the place for you. Otherwise go and enjoy a simple no frills meal in a fun laid back atmosphere.
