Nice park. Kids playground and a dog park. Area for small and a separate 1 for large dogs. And a restroom!
As the closest dog park to my house, Bluebird Springs is a decent trip for me and my pup. The park itself is nestled in a quiet, tree-lined area with a small playground and bathrooms nearby, but it is a bit of a walk to get to the dog enclosures from the parking area. The park has a large dog enclosure and a small dog enclosure, but both seem a bit on the small side, especially if there are ever more than a few dogs present. On the large dog side there is a decent bit of shade for hot days, and a water fountain (for both humans and dogs), but the dog portion was entirely clogged up during our visit.
The park itself is pretty sad. The springs here are ruined and full of garbage. But, the dog park facilities are great and are the only reason we come.
Love it! Last few times have gotten to see a otter! Nice little playground. Very quiet! Peaceful.
REAL Florida! See the beauty of Florida that is not Palm trees and beaches... Great clean facilities and large dog park, shade and birds and nice place for a picnic, playground for little ones and pond for fishing. Highly recommend!
