I called and spoke to the dismissive manager (MIT) and explained that I was told my the night clerk to be sure and call “mit” or “Brenda” later in the week so that I won’t be charged. I called and spoke to Brenda and she said she had it taken care of. A week later still no reimbursement, MIT told me since I didn’t turn in my plastic key card I was charged for an additional night. $80 for nothing.....a Distcusting, unkempt motel. I’m am furious.

Great location, but the motel is old and dirty. The room stank horribly.
The food and Bar was great! The staff also great. But to say the room we had was a train wreck would be an understatement ! Cobwebs everywhere and fithy, also smelled like smoke. TV didn't work nor did it have a small refrigerator. I don't even want to think about what I can't see.

This more of a motel then a hotel. The property is older which would be fine but it was clearly not well maintained. Found the lobby to have an odd odor, everything appeared to be dirty, garbage in all the hallways, the restaurant and breakfast bar appeared to need a deep clean. The breakfast area had a large milk container sitting out with no refrigeration. Would not want to see what the kitchen looked like if that was what it looked like in the view able areas. This could be a nice little spot if management went in did a deep deep clean and some simple maintenance and kept it up. I have stayed at the same price hotels with much better accommodations.
Nasty! Made a quick one day trip and made a reservation on the way. It USED to be a decent place - NOT anymore! I pulled up with scary looking guys hanging out all around the driveway and even into the lobby. The place was filthy. I went in and asked if I could cancel my reservation and was told I couldn't. Left there and went to Hampton Inn in Crystal River, which is where I should have gone in the first place. Called 5 times trying to get a refund and just given the run around. Wouldnt recommend this hotel at all.
DISTCUSTED: My room smelled like dirty socks and an ashtray (non-smoking), the furnature was falling apart, garbage was over flowing from garbage cans, cockroaches in the bathroom, no security lock on room door because it was obviously busted off several times before.Secondly, after working 12hrs I had to wait 10min to get some clean towels from the office before I could shower. Finally, I checked out early and made a phone call The next day, just to be sure I wasn’t going to be charged for additional days. Come to find out they surely charged me for a third day. This place is filthy, disgusting and should be under new management and office staff if it wants to have any type of decency. It has gone down hill from two years ago. Will not stay here ever again.
